How many concurrent session windows XP allow ?

in windows 2000 it was 10.

also now the question is in win xp if it is 10 session

then if we share a printer will it allow only 10 users to use the
printer?

thanks in advance

Same for Windows XP as Windows 2000. No more than 10 user are allowed
to access a printer or device at the same time. A print server might be
a better alternative.

Note that the limitation is about *connections*, not users or computers.
Each computer can (and usually does) make multiple connections to a
"pseudo-server".

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=314882

Inbound concurrent connections:

5 for XP Home
10 for XP Pro/Tablet/MCE
49 for SBS 2000
74 for SBS 2003
Unlimited for full Server O/Ses

Either buy a network printer or, if your printer isn't network-capable,
get a print server.
