I have ZoneAlarm installed on my computer and set to start automatically.
Occasionally after a restart I launch my Dialup Connection without first
checking to see that ZoneAlarm has started. My concern is that some virus
or other may infect my computer during this brief period of time when my
Dialup Connection has started and ZoneAlarm is still initiating. I have
moved ZoneAlarm to the head of the pact in the RUN key of my registry, but
it seems that WIN2K starts these programs randomly.



Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can make the Dialup Connection
dependent on the successful startup of ZoneAlarm?

I don't believe there is a way, most, if not all, IS/AV apps behave this
way, i.e. invariably they are the last to load.
Perhaps, boot PC, make coffee and return. - not meant to be a facetious
comment
