No problem, glad I could help. I can't believe no Verizon tech's would
realize they installed their own security software and that was causing the
problem!
You still need some security with your high speed connection, make sure your
computer is up to date by running Windows Update regularly, make sure the
Windows firewall is on (go to start > control panel > security center), and
be sure to run an antivirus program and several anti spyware programs.
I use AVG free for antivirus and spybot search and destroy and Ad-aware for
spyware. Good luck
