I need help.

A few months back I bought a Curtis MP3 player. When I got home and plugged
in the USB that came with it, it would connect, then before I could do
anything it would deconnect... connect, then deconnect. It would do this
until I unplugged it.

I then looked at the instruction manual because I noticed when it would
connect temporarily it would say "Found MTP Device". In the manual it said
that if your computer is having problems recognizing the MTP format to do
something (which I did, it worked).

Since then I have accidentally thrown out the manual and have reloaded
microsoft on my computer and it no longer works like it used to (it must have
lost the capability to recognize this MP3 player when I reloaded
microsoft)... it is back to recognizing it, then deconnecting, connecting,
and deconnecting... leaving me no time to add songs to it.

I forgot what I did to fix it but I beleive it was a simple properties
change... anyone know how I can get my computer how to recognize this MP3
player again?????

HELP!!!!!!

Maybe it's time to visit the manufacturer's website to see if the
manual is available.

If you ever do get this Curtis to work please list out the steps. I
also have a MTP enabled MP3 (Sandisk Sansa Express 1GB) but it aways
show up so far.
