Computer Wont Boot XP

Went to sleep, computer was fine. Go to start it up this morning, and it
says that a recent 'hardware or software changes' have made it impossible to
boot XP. Gives me options to start normal, go to last known good settings,
safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with comand prompt; nothing
works. Is the hard drive shot or can I just hook it up to another computer
and run it normal?
