Computer transfer glitches

1) When I launch from 'quick lanuch', the window opens in a small window,
then freezes. After a few seconds, I get a "program not responding"
message. However, if I launch IE7, also from 'quick launch' and the only
icon that works, it opens fine in a full window. If I launch IE7 first,
then any of the icons will work, operating in full window status and in
separate tab. What's up?

1a) As an aside, how do I get 'quick launch' and other desktop icons to open
in full window rather than small?

2) Where in XP are all the OE files hiding so I can transfer them?

Thanks,

Fred

1. What program?

1a. To have a shortcut open a program maximized, right-click the
shortcut, click Properties, change it to "Run: Maximized".

2. In OE, click File, Export and you can export the address book and
messages.
