American Megatrends (AMI) is a BIOS maker. I would still check in the BIOS
settings for anything connected with Wake On LAN. You might also check to
see if you have any AMI automatic update software (or automatic diagnostic
software) installed. It most definitely is not spyware but perhaps there is
a problem with your motherboard. You might want to examine the AMI website
that appears and see if it is linking you to a page with troubleshooting or
updates.
Otherwise, if this is an OEM computer (Dell, HP, etc.) I would contact their
tech support. If this is a generic or home-built computer, check with the
motherboard mftr.'s tech support.
