computer shuts down while creating new/sp1.cab in SP1

's Computer Specifications

My laptop does not have SP1 for XP installed. When I use
Windows update and try to install it, the laptop shuts
down. I haven't found a solution in the knowledge base.
Please help.

You either a) have the blaster virus or one of its permutations, or b) you
need to adjust the power options on the laptop so it doesn't power down,
hibernate or go into standby while on AC and stays idle.

's Computer Specifications

I have got the same problem on a computer that just had XP installed (n
mail, no other programs yet...). So I do not think I have a virus (jus
connected the net-cable) and it is not a laptop and it is set to neve
shut down... So there must be another reason. Does anybody have an
idea?
