Well, perhaps not every night, but for the last two nights, my system has
powered itself completely off at around 8 pm. Yesterday, it restarted itself
around 2 pm. I have never had this happen before. Running McAfee Total
Protection.

Hi: Try to check in the BIOS of your system if you have activated the wake
on lan, of your NIC (network card). If you have ypur computer connected to a
router and you it on, sometimes there is some network activite that start up
the machine if the wake on lan (WOL), is active.
