Computer shuts down when playing games

Hi, heres my problem...

Everytime I try to run a game from the internet ( not from CD) It will shut
off my computer. I am able to play for 20 minutes or so, but then the
computer will freeze and then completely crash. Ive tried many things so far
but no luck.

If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.

If all is well with youre hardware,try looking at it some more...Games
use,and
abuse computers to the max,look at ram memory,1024mb is min.,video adapter,
128mb is min,chk youre hd,if it runs at 7200rpm,how old is it....
