Hello.
I do not use my desktop remotely, however, every time I
connect to the internet, my computer will give me a pop-
up window that states "Remote Procedure Call, service
temporarily terminated unexpectedly by NT
AUTHORITYSYSTEM". This problem only occurs while I am
connected to the internet, and the longer I am on, the
more often and quickly it occurs, until my connection
time is around 3 to 4 minutes long.
I checked the event viewer and found this: "The COM +
Event System detected a bad return code during its
internal processing. HRESULT was 80070613A from line 44
of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp.
Please contact Microsoft to report error.
I have reported the error, but this does not solve my
problem.
I should note that d:\ is an added hard drive with more
memory. I've had this system for over a year, this
problem is just now occuring out of the blue. How can I
fix it? Many thanks, -Peggy
