Computer showing less RAM

I have a HP notebook which is supposed to haev RAM of 512MB, however for some
reason it is showing 384MB only, I scanned the computer for virus and Norton
didn't find anything. Any suggestions ?

Hi,

You are using shared ram for the video. With Vista, I would seriously
consider upgrading to at least 1GB.
