Computer Restarts - Blue Screen Of Death

Hello,

A while back my motherboard died along with the power supply so I got
it fixed (well I thought I did). So I have a new motherboard and the
disc with it (incase i need it)

All was working fine until the computer now randomly restarted itself,
always in the beginning whilst composing an email in Outlook, but now
happens anytime (you just have to be prepared)

I'm thinking it has something to do with the new motherboard, but i'm
no expert.

Originally my PC had two usb ports in the front, the guy who fixed my
computer said he couldnt get them working again with the new
motherboard and put another two in the back. So they all work fine, its
just the restarts that annoy me. So I get a Blue Screen of Death and
this is what it says..........

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart
your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps

Check to make sure any new hardware is properly installed. If this is a
new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturere for any
windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any new installed hardware or
software. Disable Bios memory options such as caching or shadowing

If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select advanced Start Up Options and then
select safe mode.

Thanks in advance.

See:

Typically a driver or incompatible hardware issue. It would also be
smart to test your RAM if you are using the same sticks and if it
wasn't already done on the principle of "Just In Case".

Read the information at the link I already gave you. Then test your RAM
per the instructions here:

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

This is often due to the failure of RAM or Harddisk. Please ensure the
devies are properly installed and in working condition. They fail
sometimes due to electric socks also.
