Hi,

Is it that files in the system32 folder are corrupt? Or is it saying that
something in \windows\system32\config is corrupt? The former can be cured by
running sfc /scannow from a start/run prompt. The latter requires replacing
a corrupt registry:

Thank youfor your help the correct messega is exactly "Windows could
not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\Windows\system32\config\system
you can attemp to repair this file by starting windows setup using the
original setup cd room....

what shall i do to fix this problem? i used FIXBOOT to repair but when
i restart my computer it is corrupt again and again???

Hi,

The problem is a corrupt registry, so the solution is in the article I
referred you to.

The procedure for replacing the registry is in the link that Rick
previously gave you. Here it is again for your convenience:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;Q307545

If the procedure seems too complicated - and there is no shame in
admitting to yourself that this isn't your cup of tea - take the
machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local version
of BigStoreUSA).
