My computer recognizes the dvd-rom drive and the cd-r
drive but, the DVD-rom does not recognize ANY media when
it is put into the DVD drive! The cd-r drive works fine.
i have uninstalled and reinstalled the device, drivers,
controllers, and even replaced the DVD-rom with a new one
and still the same problem, all i get is "insert a disc
into drive D" there is a disc in there!, i've even
changed the opton from "DMA if available" to PIO and
still nothing! I've tried all kinds of dvd's and cd's, cd-
r's, games, it Doesn't recognize any media at all and
this is SOOOOOOOOO frustrating! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! AND
THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE.
