My comp. with XP Pro. reboot from time to time some days once some days more

According to MS reporting response it's a driver or a program.

Already many programs and drivers which I installed I have removed.

I also renewed the power supply unit , but still the same

Any help would be appreciated

Look to the hardware; CPU, memory, CPU fan, etc as being the cause.

Please post a copy of the Stop Error Report.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on
the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced,
Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before
Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

An alternative is to keep pressing the F8 key during Start-Up and select
option - Disable automatic restart on system failure.

If you are using a wireless keyboard and the F8 key does not work
substitute a wired keyboard and mouse for this exercise only.

I have done what I could but the problem is still there but not too bad, so
once per day a reboot.

I may reload XP and see what happens

I don't know what is going on but many people have problems with XP now ,
freezing IE7 and freezing Outlook

Have you tried at least re-seating the RAM or swapping the RAM in different slots ?

If you do have a hardware problem, reinstalling WinXP may fail.

Just now I have done the mem swapping and moved graphics card in and out ,
also moved all connections in and out

Wait and see will keep you informed as soon a reboot or no reboot after 24
hours

The processor I couldn't move and left it, to complicated for me

No more reboot for 48 hours so I am sure it is fixed now

Some bad news the rebooting problem is not over after 2 days it came back
