My Dell Inspiron 5100 will sometimes randomly turn off. It doesn't go through the shut down process, it just goes dead. When I turn it back on, it will oftentimes just turn back off quickly. Is this a problem with Windows or is it the hardware? I have it plugged into a surge protector at all times (which is then plugged into the wall)... so I'm baffled. Any help would be appreciated.

Red, it could be a flaky Power Supply or the CPU is running very hot.
