Obviously, the computer is responding or you would not be able to open task
manager and see the message. What program is not responding? Also, how
long do you wait before opening task manager? In Vista you may see "Not
Responding" in the titlebar of a window but the program turns out to be very
busy and comes back to life in a few seconds to a few minutes. Not
Responding can be an app hang but is just as often a temporary condition and
may be normal for the task (large).
