This is the 2nd time this has happened. I paid a friend of a friend (can not
locate) to correct the problem and it worked fine until I moved my computer
and unplugged the keyboard.
My system is set up to use a password to gain access so now I can't get into
fix the problem. Help!!!! I have a resignation ltr to compose and can't get
into my computer.

Did you unplug the keyboard when the machine was still running? What kind of
keyboard - ps/2 (round connector) or usb? It sounds like a hardware
problem. If you have a ps/2 keyboard, try a usb one and vice versa.
