Contact Diskeeper technical support.

When asking for help you need to provide more detail than "would not work".

specifically, diskeeper will not analyze or defrag and windows xp defrag
will not start. diskeeper tech support is like so many other so-called tech
supporters, that you can't get to the person who can answer the question,
answer the phone, or lead you to the right site to ge the help you need,
which is why i came here.

i'm not sure if mcafee is causing conflicts or some other software, IE8RC1,
google chrome, etc.

Does Event Viewer provide additional detail?

I recommend you uninstall IE 8 RC 1 and wait until the software is finished.

The exact error message when Diskeeper fails would be helpful. The Microsoft
Disk Defragmenter most likely is not working because you have been using
Diskeeper.

What version of McAfee are you using? Is it a composite package?

Hope this helps.

There isn't an error message with diskeeper, when you select a drive and,
pick either analyze or defragment, it just sits there and does nothing.
