I put a spare hard drive and imaged it and then after imaging it and
installing more programs on it i noticed the hard drive was very small so i
created an image from it put in a bigger hard drive and the i tried to
restore the image but ghost did not see the new hard drive so i went to the
bios and the part for the hard drive was auto and i clicked enter on it and
it switched to user and then the computer would freeze once it switched to
user. so i thought i would pop out the battery and then put it back it just
for something to try to see if that would make it so the computer would not
freeze in the bios when switching to user. but now when i turn on the
computer it turns on but thats it nothing on the screen no post no beeps
nothing just the fans running. I know i might not have described my problem
very good but i did as good as i could. any ideas

Hi st,

Reset your CMOS RAM - unplug the main power cord <- MUST do that.
Then pop out the battery again and short out the battery connectors to each
other on the m'board for 60 seconds.
Put the battery back in and power on. Hold the delete key until the BIOS
screen comes up.
Set HDD thingys to "Auto".
