I need help i have a Dell dimension 3000 running windows xp.i rebooted and it
will not go to windows keeps going back to the same screen where it say safe
mode,safe mode with networking,and all the others,any way i can fix this
..please help

you can boot up with
a windows cd then select
the "recovery console" instead
of "setup/installation".

once you get to the file
system prompt>

type and enter:

chkdsk
fixboot

then type/ enter:

exit

remove your
cd and see if you can
access your o.s. again.

one from a friend or something,
since the recovery tools on any
cd can be used for issues like
yours.

you might want
to see if the manufacturer
for your computer has any
suggestions at their website.

well I do have windows ME and windows 98 cd
will any of them work on XP
my manufacturer sucks,they are no help at all,i should have never bought a
DELL computer i like HP alot better,lol

Its a Dell dimension 3000 and no i didn't get anything with mine because I
leased to own it,90days same as cash it was on display.
