Computer name IP not the same as DHCP assigned IP

Re-imaged computers - ran new sid - joined computers to the domain using the
same computer name, moved them into my OU - Cannot connect or map to some of
the computers using the computer name. Some work just fine while others I
ping using the computer name returns an incorrect ip address with no replys -
I ran ipconfig on the pc and the assigned address displayed is a different
but correct working address. Ran ping -a with that IP address the correct
machine name displays and returns with good replys. This is the address
assigned by DHCP. When using Remote Desktops no connection problems when
using the DHCP IP address but will not connect using the computer name. I ran
ipconfig /flushdns then /renew then /registerdns on the computer. Still
cannot connect using the machine name only the DHCP assigned IP address. Any
suggestions or questions?
