To find out which computer a user is logged into, I load Computer Management
on the main server and navigate to
System Tools > Shared Folders > Sessions

This lists all the computers that have files open on this server, and as
user areas are located here, everyone gets listed.

All our computers have room specific names. When someone logs onto a
Windows98 client they get listed correctly, the username under the User
column and the Computer Name under the Computer column.
However, if a user is logged onto a Windows XP client, the Computer
Management only lists the IP address of the PC under the Computer Column and
the username under the User column.
This means I have no way of seeing who is logged on where.

What is causing this?
