I have XP home with 2 users set up (and guest is switched on but not used
other than by other computers on my home peer to peer network to access
folders that I have password protected by putting a password on the guest
account) and all updates installed.
I can start up into either user, and when running can switch to the second
user and then switch back to the first however if I then go back to the
second user for a second time I get locked in.
Although all software is working at this time for the second user I can't
then switch back (neither using the start menu or the windows key plus L), I
can't log off, I can't shut down. I can't restart. My only option is the
power switch to restart.
Any idea what may cause this?
