Generally, you shouldn't post in all caps; it's considered shouting and
is more difficult to read.

Given your apparent level of expertise and what you may have done
already, your best course of action is to take your computer to a
reputable local computer repair shop, not one from a chain store.

The more you attempt to "fix" things yourself, the greater the chance
that you will make retrieving your pics and music more difficult, more
expensive, or impossible.

Here's how to fix it:

1. STOP SHOUTING! We can hear you.

2. Learn grammar and punctuation. It's a lot easier for us if we can
understand what it is you are trying to say.

3. Take the hard drive out of your computer and slave it into another
computer to copy your data off. If this isn't practical, Go to
www.knopper.com and download the Knoppix ISO image and burn it to CD. Boot
your computer with the Knoppix disk and copy your data off to an external USB
hard drive. You do have one of those for backup, don't you?

4. Read the instruction manual that came with the computer. All
manufacturers provide a way to restore the machine to an "as shipped"
condition. When it's restored, reinstall all of your applications and copy
your data back from the external USB drive.

Ouch! Please don't yell at us. We can hear you if type normally, in
mixed case.

What did you download?

> BIG MISTAKE,

Almost everything that is supposed to make your computer faster is a
giant hoax at best, and often malware. Programs like that should be
strenuously avoided.

It sounds like you are very much a beginner, and anything more you do
will make the situation even worse. Take the computer to a
professional and pay him to fix it for you.

When I say "professional," I mean a real professional. Avoid the Geek
Squad (which is terrible) and anyone else from one of the big box
stores.

there are many ways to
improve system performance.

however, before you put
rocket fuel in your car,

you should really understand
what's under the hood.

how does safe mode
run?
