computer freezing at startup

hello

i have an xp home edition cpu i system restored twice in 1 week
after second time the screen freezes on the mostly blue windows xp screen i
haved tried all f8 key troubleshooting nothing worked this cpu is from
gateway tower about 7 yrs old pre loaded with recovery disks included my
other computer is xp pro so when i tried to make a boot disk it said bad boot
ini. file what other ideas do you think i can try without using the recovery
disks

please help or steer me in the right direction

If English is your primary language, you might try posting your
situation again in a more organized and grammatical format.

As it is, I - for one - find you unreadable.

If your computer is freezing the most common problem is a failing HD. Test
the HD to see if it is the problem then the memory. You can use TESTDISK
from the linux system rescue CD for a start.

Whilst your computer may feeze is it still frozen 30 minutes later?

Does the computer freeze booting to safe mode?

What does the error say when it freezes on the Blue Screen (BSOD) Can you post the
error

Disconnect all hardware except keyboard, mouse and monitor and then try
to boot.

If that doesn't work. Is your mouse and keyboard wired on wireless?

What is the cpmputer make and model?
