These days, my computer freezes too often like 3 times a
day In the sense that my mouse seems to move but I cannot
click on anything, sometimes the 3 magic keys bring up
the task manager and sometimes they don't but when they
do , the cpu usage is around 4% and my hard drive is not
showing busy either.

I find this very weird , if fellow ragers could suggest
something?

Edit- I defragmented my drive a week ago.

Any error messages? Are you using any particular program at the time of the
freezing?

hi, thanks for the reply, no error messages , however i
got two blue screens last week within 24 hours. I don't
think there is any particular program though.

If everything here including hard drive diagnostics does not help,
make sure you have the latest drivers for your hardware, especially
video and sound.

Thanks guys, I just did an online symantec security check
and evrything was ok, and am running Ad-Aware right now,
will keep you guys updated on the status.
