Computer freezes when I drag and drop

's Computer Specifications

My computer locks up when I try to drag a file and drop it
into a folder. Are there any fixes for this?

instead of doing drag and drop try right clicking and pasting to new folder then if its there delete old should work, run defrag and clean out temp files and cookies to free up some space and sources
