What's an "e-form link"? Do you mean a mailto URL?

Yes, it is a mailto URL link. Once i received an email which contains a link
in the message body, i need to click this link to compose a reply message.
As soon as i click the link, my computer stop responding. I have to reboot
my computer manually. I have Windows XP SP2 with Office 2003. Any help
appreciated. Thanks.

Can you open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) when this happens? Check
the Processes tab if there is anything using 100% CPU.
