Computer Does Not Boot Up

Hi not sure what is wrong my mom has a computer that is running Windows
Vista 64bit HP Pavilion she bought last year and every thing was working
fine until today. She goes to turn it on and noting happens just starts to
boot up and freezes can some one please help we would very much appreciate
that thanks very much.

Hi,

If it doesn't even get to the point where Windows begins to load, then you
have a hardware failure and will probably need a technician to diagnose it
properly. If it's at least starting to load Windows, then hit F8 immediately
after the initial power-on (POST) to get the boot menu where you can try
safe mode.

Thanks Rick that worked we got in and ran system restore and fixed the
problem thanks again.
