Computer Crashes in the middle of a game...

      1st Apr 2008
While playing GTA, my computer will randomly crash, the error report says its
caused by realtek hd audio. ??? I'm clueless

Update your sound driver from the manufacturer's web page (Realtek
obviously - might try the computer manufacturer's web page if this is a
Dell/Gateway/HP/IBM or some large vendor like that.)

As a test, try lowering sound hardware acceleration. Open Control
Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Audio tab, Advanced button, Performance
tab.
