My friend and faithfull companion the laptop died 2 weeks
ago, due to an XP failure/argument with the harddrive. A
professional company has been able to back up the
harddrive, and I since then have bought a new desktop.

So I have a DVD with all my data backed up (including my
addressbook, taskmanager etc) and a brand new OUTLOOK.

Is there anyway I can import my previous files from the
DVD onto my new computer? I'm desperate. I have just lost
too much!

Or do I need to spent a lot of money and try to perform
CPR on my laptop?

Help is needed!
