Hi,
We have a windows 2000 server with several shared folders on it.
Our users use \\servername\sharefolder to access those shared folders.
But recently our users kept getting error when they tried to access
those shared folders. When I checked the server , I noticed that the
"computer browser" service stops by itself. After I restart this
"comptuer browser" service, the file share is OK.
Is there any connection between "computer browser" service and
"file share"? I did some research but did NOT find anything.
And is there a way to figure out why this computer service stops by
itself ? There is no error in system log.
Thanks very much for any help.

yours Steve
