I do IT Audits, and we don't send people paperwork to let them fill it
out... we do it ourselves... but we're a business.... here's what we
do in summary...
Nessus - www. nessus.com , register it, license it and use it.. it
does good vulnerability scanning.
GFILANGuard - does vulnerability scanning and does it well.....
.....These two products together will give you a good map of your
networks...
If the branches are not connected (which they are, you just don't know
it, because they HAVE to be, to be branches), there are ways to do all
this from 1 location....
If the sites/branches are not actively supported, then I suggest you
talk to the person who IS responsible or the person-in-charge-of-
IT....
IMO, you're asking someone to boil down years of expertise and
knowledge into a template, a small 'simple-straightforward'
utility.... and if that can be done, my 20 years of experience is
wasted...
I shoulda just came to usenet and asked, "hey guys, I've got a problem
that if you could solve, I'll make lots of money from, so just send me
the solution to
(E-Mail Removed) and I would appreciate any help you
provide... thanks"
Why didn't I think of that, coulda saved me tons of student loans....
Gawwwwsh....!!
