On windows XP machines, Under the Entire Network if you browes A
network/Domain, the computers are listed by the discription with the name in
Brackets ie... Bob's PC (pc90001). Is there a way to default the display so
that it Only Displays by PC Name?

This issue is supposed to be addressed by SP2. There is also a hotfix/Group
Policy solution:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330193/
