compression error

I am running a brother HL-730+ on XP. When I try to print
more than 5 documents, the next page will only print
partial, then I get an error printout
saying "decompression error". After that, it continues to
print pages with control characters till I disconnect the
cable and turn power off and back on. If I reconnect
cable, it continues to print control characters.Also
cannot cancel print jobs, Say's cancelling, but doesn't.
