Compressing Photos

I am a higher-end PowerPoint User and have just jumped to 2007. I have used
the 2003 compress function for years with great success. I am working on a
show that is currently at 211MB, (compressed!) with only probably 10-20
pictures. Obviously the pictures are very large. And obviously my 2007
compress function is not working or i have done something wrong. My solution
at the moment is to save the file, bring it up on another computer using
2003, then compress, which brings it down to 16MB.

Is this a flaw or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for anone's
help. John

I wonder you want to reduce the size of your powerpoint. There are quite a
few reasons why your files might get huge,you can:
Turn off fast saves
Watch out for oversize image files
Watch for embedded objects, pasted or dragged graphics
Etc.

Copyright laws and copying ethics must be waaaay different in China! That
link leads to site free of helpful content but advertising for a crappy
program.
