All our pc's is win xp pro.One of my users is compaining he does NOT have
the option available to compress or zip a file using the build in software
of XP. How can i put this option on his pc as i do not want them to use 3rd
party software > i.e. if he right-click on a folder and choose send to > the
option is not there. Thanks for your time

Hi

Try typing the following command from Start>Run

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll

Please note the space between the 2 and z.

After that (To OP) :
Click Start > Run
Type "%userprofile%\SendTo" (Including quotes) > CLick ok
Make a new file and change its extension to "ZFSendToTarget" (Without
quotes)
