Check your webserver that the .htaccess file has the correct mime type
for the zip file set.
Some browsers (incorrectly) parse the file name to discover the file
type and "accidentally" find that your zip file is indeed a zip file
(and therefore binary), while other browsers correctly read the
mimetype from the http header (set by .htaccess) and download the zip
file as ascii and destroy the contents.
