compress old files

      1st Aug 2004
i went into the system registry and deleted the compress
old fills folder thinking it would delete all the files
but come to find out it did not delete them is their any
way to get that folder back so i can clean all the files
up with disk clean up?
thank you very much right now hteir is only 4.74 gb being
used up but the compress old fiels are using up allot if
i can delete hte fiels then i should be down to like 4.03
gb mad space lol

You do not want to delete them.
Some may be important.
The option in Disk Clean-up does not delete them, it simply compresses
old files, files that not been recently used.

If you need space search elsewhere for truly useless files.
