outlook 2007 – I am new to this program and have an elementary question:
when I compose a new message and click on send – that message is placed in
the outbox (rather than sending it on its way). When I click on “send” –
that is what I would like to happen. I’m sure this is an easy setting – but
can’t find it. Can someone direct me please?

Tools/Options/E-Mail Setup, check the first box, which reads 'Send
immediately', or similar.
