complete pc backup

I am using asus laptop with Vista Ultimate and have used complete pc backup
to backup my hard drive to a usb portable hard drive. I needed to restore and
it worked perfectly.

I have deleted the windows image folder on the portable drive and would like
to do a new complete backup.

The backup and restore centre always says the backup is still there and will
do an incremental backup when i let this happen the resulting file seemes
about half the size it should be backup says it will be about 40gig but it
is only 20gig

How do i force a complete new backup
