Compiler Error Message: CS1026: ) expected

I can now get rid of both errors by specifying the Report
Path within the DataBindings with double slashes (\\) and
in quotes. So it becomes;

"C:\\inetpub\\wwwroot\\crdemo\\crnw1\crnw1\\crnw1.rpt"

however, although the report still appears within VS.NET
(for both VB and C#), all that appears on the resulting
webpage is a grey box stating;

Use ReportSource or DataBindings to specify a report
source.
