I just loaded XP and Office on a new machine. Now when I leave Outlook, I
get the following message; "Compile error in hidden module Autoexec." Does
anyone have a solution. By the way, I use Word as my editor in Outlook, and
i was asked to enable macros when I first accessed Word.

THat's Word giving you both messages, not Outlook. You might want to check what's going on in Word VBA.
