Compatibility problems between Outlook 2003 & 2007?

I'm using Outlook 2003 and was sent some task requests from someone
using 2007. My version of Outlook will not allow me to open what has
been sent to me. Is there any way to fix this problem? The error
message I get is "Outlook cannot do this type of action on this type
of attachment". Is there something I can download or change so I can
access these task requests?
