What compatibility problems do you have?

How to ask a newsgroup question:

Some have tested the site on mozilla and firefox and told me that the layout
(mise en page) is up side down unlike IE.

this is OT but
why do people hate MS so much that they would be willing to use such
inferior web browsers??
Firefox, Mozilla, Opera are free and IMHO beta versions. If they can't see
the pages correctly it's because they chose to use crappy software just to
spite Bill G. Don't they know it's a MS world.
;-)
hehe

my poor friend had a problem with some formerly easy to visit websites most
likely caused by changes to the security settings but the brilliant DELL
tech told her to download and install Firefox. So instead of supporting the
software they sold her they told her to use another program? Now neither
works properly

So all software companies besides Microsoft should just close their doors and
let Bill Gates lead us to The Greater Good?

You are using VML Graphics, remove these and replace with standard GIF or JPG(rgb format) images,
and then everyone will be able to view your pages correctly. VML graphics on work in IE Browsers
running under Windows.

Web developers really need to learn what will and will not work in the various browsers and version
and platforms before launching a site with various features without first testing.

Agreed absolutely. I don't think the answer is for everyone to be forced to use IE, with its continuing
security problems.

IMHO, your humble opinion is far off the mark and displays a huge amount of
ignorance and bias.

Your tone implies that free has something to do with the quality. How much
did you pay for IE? Oh wait, I forgot. IE is part of the OS, which you did
pay for.

The aforementioned browsers display HTML and have better support for current
technologies than that old dog IE, and are in fact superior, thank you.

Just because the 6-years-old IE does a better job of supporting Word crap
and MicroSoft's proprietary extensions doesn't make it a better browser.

But, I suppose you like Page Transitions too. Would you also like some
ActiveX with your web page?

You may be right but it doesn't solve my problem since a lot of user use
specially mozilla and firefox.
I did some testings and it appears that I only have problems with my
homepage, all other pages are more or less exact.

I need to know what's the difference with my homepage and all of the other
pages, what is the problem and how to solve it (if it's possible)
