Why does some softwares like Oracle9i does not support the windows vista
whille installing and it display messages that "compatatiblity issues",so how
come I can install that database inside the vista.........???

Just because something can be installed does not mean it will work right
after it has been installed.

It's probably Oracle's way of telling you that 9i is not supported on Vista,
which means that you cannot expect any support from Oracle for this
combination, if issues arise.
I also agree with Richard that just because no show stopper problems
appeared while running the installer, does NOT mean that problems won't
appear as you use the DBMS.

It's been a big day, for compatibility discussions ....

I'm no sure what you would prefer instead. Do you want Vista to actively
*stop* you from installing Oracle 9i?

Maybe it should download Oracle 10 silently and install that? ;-)

But... wouldn't the "MS way" be to download SQL Server and silently install
that?
