I have 4 *.doc files containing each with about 30 pages.

I need to prepare a compare the difference between the sequence of files.
e.g
1st File : C1.doc
2nd File : C2.doc
3rd File : C3.doc
4th File : C4.doc

Please help me to compare the difference between these files.

Hi Driller,

Are you comparing these to a baseline document, or to each other to see what changed sequentially over time, or ??? What level of
detail are you trying to compare (content, formatting, rearranged text, etc).

You can compare any pair of documents to each other, or you can combine documents together to compare to another.

Word 2007 has some enhanced features over prior versions so knowing what version you're using can also be helpful.

Thanks Bob for your interesting reply..I have these files on MSWord *03 to be
compared from each other..The criteria for comparison is as follows

1) Compare content *word/text* and *word/text format* in between each
*true-page break*.
2) Comparing regardless of paragraph formatting.
3) Comparing regardless of line numbers or spaces.
2) Compare C2 from C1 (C1 as the baseline), then
compare C3 from C2 (C2 as the baseline), then
compare C4 from C3 (C3 as the baseline), then
compare C4 from C1 (C1 as the baseline)
C4 is the latest file, C1 is the first file.
