comparing two tables

Hello all, I am trying to use access or excel to compare table a to table b and remove from b. Only one column needs to be compared from each book. My header titles are

fname lname dba_name address city state zip add_date file_type amount phone1 phone 2 phone 3

any help would be much appreciated.
